It is recommended that all individuals age 6 months and older receive the vaccine for the 2011-2012 seasonal flu. This year’s vaccine provides protection against 3 strains of flu virus that are expected to circulate this season. All people, including pregnant women and those with medical conditions, are strongly recommended to get a flu vaccine each year. Below is a list of several locations that you may obtain your flu shot:
Worcester County Health Departments:
They will provide vaccines to all Worcester County residents. Billing can be made through Medicare and Medicaid. Cards must be present. There is a $15 fee for all others.

8am-4pm Wednesdays (beginning 9/28) @ Pocomoke Health Center
8am-4pm Fridays (beginning 9/30) @ Berlin Health Center
Peninsula Regional Medical Center:
They will be offering their annual drive thru flu clinic @ Perdue Stadium, October 20th and 21st from 10am -6pm. There is a $10 fee.
Atlantic General Hospital:
As a service to the community, AGH/Health System’s annual flu shot clinics are FREE to the community. The scheduled clinics are:

There are also several local pharmacies including Walmart, Target, CVS and Walgreens that will have flu vaccines available. The cost and time of there services varies but you can call and check or make an appointment.
